Another snow storm's coming--and it's supposed to be a big one! The store was super-duper crowded...just check out how far back I had to park!

A beautiful day in Tulsa, with a beautiful woman (inside and outside). My mom and I had a great weekend in Tulsa, where I had a conference to attend. The weather was too nice to be inside, though, so we snuck away for lunch and shopping in the afternoon!

I am thankful that my child willingly eats healthy lunches every day!
Broccoli, red peppers, yellow squash, carrots, milk, grapes, turkey, cheese, whole wheat crackers and a few conversation hearts for fun :)

We are thankful for the fun trinkets Grammy sends in the mail every week. Every Tuesday, like clockwork, each kid (plus Brandon and I) get a letter/card/fun stuff from Grammy. Recently they've been getting these fun "pocket pets." Kohen has an alligator, a frog and the dino he got today. Maryn has a boy baby, a girl baby and a butterfly!

Kohen and his cousin, Grant, have a great time together. Here they were enjoying a little Sponge Bob, which is totally forbidden in our house. But...it was keeping him quiet during my grandma's visitation, so I gave in!
Sunday

Maryn watching our neighbor "play" in the snow (he was actually plowing his driveway with his tractor but she insisted he was playing!)
**Oh, and you might be able to see, just above her head, where she licked the window. Gee...wonder why we're sick with everything under the sun?!?

It was a loooong day home with my sweetie today. We are working with her on cleaning up her messes and it's NOT going well!

The one Christmas gift I just can't part with. I'm not sure what we're going to do with it, but it just doesn't seem right to put it away or unwrap it.

Every picture has a story, right? Any guesses?
Tonight Maryn decided she'd rather mess around than eat her dinner. She kept pushing her chair back with her feet so that she couldn't reach her plate. After the third time, Brandon said, "Maryn, do you need to go sit in your room while the rest of us finish?" Of course, the little punk said, "Yesh." So off she went.

Brandon and I are making the conscious decision to spend more time with Kohen during his "rest" times working on writing his last name, doing math, writing numbers (I didn't realize how poor his number-writing skills were), etc. Kohen LOVES the attention and loves to learn, so it's win-win!
