We tried a new broiled shrimp recipe from Cooking Light tonight (it's a hit, btw). Kohen begged to eat the shrimp off the sticks so we decided we'd all do the same! The kids ate more shrimp than I've ever seen them eat before! Good thing we made a lot!

Took the kids to our favorite park today for a picnic. The best part? It's only 10 minutes from our house and away from everything. We didn't see another soul during the hour we were out there!

Smoothies--our breakfast during the week. Today's concoction was pineapple, banana, blueberries, strawberries, yogurt, flax seed, ice and OJ. Yum!

I am thankful for my "little helper" at dinner time. Just as things start to get chaotic and she teeters on the brink of a huge fit because she's starving (!), I ask her to get the silverware. A job she loves. We may not always get the correct silverware (the other day I got just a knife) but she takes pride in her contribution!

Maryn and Kohen couldn't resist watching the guy we paid to clear our driveway. It was a sheet of ice under all the snow, so we decided shoveling probably wasn't a good option.
