Finally more #2 success on the potty! In the early days of using the potty, M would go #2, but she has quickly switched back to asking for a diaper for her, um, dirty work. Tonight, she did it like a big girl...and here she is holding up her reward--two jelly beans (yes, I realize you can't see them). Also notice her still-soapy hands. She couldn't wait long enough to rinse her hands off to get her treat :)

Brandon specifically requested that his new grill be the picture of the day. Since he doesn't ask for much, I figured I could oblige (although I DID have a really good one I was going to use). He's pretty pumped about his new toy--part gas grill, part charcoal grill and part smoker. This puppy took him 3+ hours to put together and he's itching to use it!

A rare picture of me. Probably the only one that will be up on this blog all year. My mom and I spent the weekend in Dallas at my aunt's wedding. We had a blast and LOVED the weather!

A very special someone sent the kids Target gift cards in the mail a week or so ago. Today seemed like the perfect (rainy) day to pick something new out! Maryn really, REALLY wanted a Barbie, but somehow I talked her into this huge My Little Pony figure-thing and Kohen chose three color-changing Matchbox Cars.

I thought I was being a good mom by bringing Maryn along and letting her choose her toy...and I will never do it again. She wanted EVERYTHING. The good news is that I've got some great birthday ideas for her now!

Maryn got her "big-girl cup" privileges taken away after she spilled her water all over the kitchen tonight. When she didn't return quickly after I asked her to put a pair of B's shoes away, I went looking for her. I found her, in mismatched dress shoes, with the bath tub turned on, drinking water from our hair-washing cup. Smart little girl!

Had a really good workout today--treadmill AND swimming and this was my treat...Sonic ice! I really needed change for a field trip for Kohen and this was a great excuse! I was proud of myself for just ordering a bag of ice--no ice cream!
